Middlesbrough could attract their biggest crowd of the season to date to the Riverside Stadium for Saturday evening's npower Championship clash with Leeds. The visitors have sold their full allocation of 4,075 tickets for the game and home fans have responded to guarantee a crowd in excess of 20,000. Boro's best attendance of the campaign so far came in their opening fixture, a 3-1 defeat by Ipswich which was watched by 21,882 spectators. But despite winning three and drawing one of their four home games since, the Teessiders have been watched by crowds of just 14,663, 15,033, 15,158 and 14,749 respectively since.
