The main changes to the backroom staff are the re-defined duties of Bill Beswick and the appointment of Grant Downie as head physio.
Beswick will no longer be assitant to McClaren but will concentrate on his role as pyschologist, while Downie has been brought in to replace Bob Ward who left towards the end of last season.
In other changes Steve Round has been promoted to first team attacking coach, a move which allows Mark Proctor to take charge of the reserves, after a successful season with the youth team.
Another new member of the team is ex-Blackburn manager Don Mackay who will head up the scouting department at Rockcliffe.
